dearest readers,

i have a surprise for those of you who have watched me grow year after year into a larger, more leafy tree.

the girl who waters me likes to eat oranges. one of her oranges has started an amazing blog called orangepulp. like this diary, orangepulp is written from the perspective of another member of the plant kingdom.

i think you'll really enjoy it. if it ever becomes famous, you can say you knew ficustree before orangepulp existed.

i'll still update my diary whenever i can, so don't worry. i might take long breaks every now and then, but i'll always come back.
