what do i do when my leaves fall?

it's hard to pick them up and put them in the trash can because i'm planted pretty firmly in my pot. so i just push them under the rug.

the only problem is that my leaves are starting to pile up under the rug. whenever someone walks on it, their footsteps sound a little bit crunchy. i think it's kind of funny, but maybe elana wouldn't think so.
