there are many types of fruit trees. why not vegetable trees?

fruit trees are proud of their sweet fruits. but vegetable plants are embarrassed that their vegetables are overnutritious and taste bad to so many people.

it makes sense that vegetable plants would want to hide their vegetables close to or under the ground.
