January 16, 2004 - 10:39 p.m. binary trees are a common topic in computer science. they are digital, and computer science is theoretical. that's why they never grow in real life. you have to be an analog tree if you want to survive in the real world. trees thrive on life's complexity. all the wonderful things we experience in life just can't be abstracted away into 1's and 0's. |
